Arts Management: Uniting Arts and Audiences in the 21st Century
by: Ellen Rosewall (0)
Arts Management serves students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Introduction to Arts Management course. This edition combines both theory and practical approaches, and addresses major issues including incorporating new technology and research into management programs; new information on fundraising by using programs like Kickstarter; effectively using "futuring" exercises in organizational planning; and addressing issues of diversity and inclusion.
The Reviews
I would give it a 4 for content. The topics covered are extremely useful for those who want to understand the structure and foundation of corporations (specifically not-for-profits). Rosewall also includes resources in the back which are extremely helpful. My main issue about the book are the grammatical errors and punctuation that aren't easy to ignore, especially when there are a good number of them. Personally, it messes with the flow and quality of work.It is also a bit repetitive, which I don't mind since it keeps things fresh and ingrained in my memory.Overall, I would recommend this to a friend or colleague.
The book is great! and in the condition mentioned.
Great for an overview of Arts Management! For university classes, or practitioners trying to learn on their own.
